It’s zero waste week! Don’t get caught up in the consumerist side of zero waste (blog post about this here), because none of the most zero waste things you can do is to simply buy less.
Our natural instinct is to buy things because we have been sold this idea that objects create solutions. My latest urge was when I finished our Holland and Barracks B12 that came in a plastic bottle and I was like yes now I can buy a glass bottle, almost forgetting that we still had a semi full bottle of B complex supplements!
You can make zero waste changes with zero money and reusing jars is one of them. They are great for coffee, water, leftovers, freezing and storing dry ingredients or even your homemade deodorant!
